Caving trip to Mendip
Staying at the Wessex Caving Club hut. The
hut is walking distance from Swildons Hole, which is an excellent
sporting trip and Eastwater, which is a bit more of a challenge. There are
also places like Burrington Combe, which is good for beginners as you can
do several shorter trips and people can retire to the tea room when they’ve
had enough.
Several trips have gated access or leader systems in place. If anyone wants
anything in particular, let me know and I’ll attempt to organise it.
There’s also plenty of climbing options, so climbers are more than welcome
(or why not try a day of each?)
