“Night Of Lies” social event
You are invited to the Night of Lies. This is an opportunity to gather together and tell a few tall tales. Attendees are encouraged to attend and have a 5 minute “lie” prepared. It is a great way to hear some of our stories, told in the most over-the-top, dramatic and exaggerated way.
The event will be held at The Castle Inn from 19:00 to Late on Tuesday February 3rd and members from all the Cambridge Climbing Clubs will be invited to attend. It should be a great opportunity to meet some new people, have some food and drink and tell some outrageous lies!

Beginners climbing trip to the Peak District
(Currently scheduled for the Saturday, might be swapped to the Sunday if the weather forecast is better)
Every year the 4Cs runs a day trip to the Peak to welcome beginners and
experienced new members to the club. For many this is a chance to try
climbing outdoors, learn the basics or Trad climbing or even try a first
lead. For experienced climbers new to the club this is a great opportunity
to meet other members. We aim to group everyone up with an experienced
partner to show you the ropes. Please be aware that the club operates on a
mentorship model and we cannot replace qualified guides or training.
Beginners should be able to safely lead belay before this trip – please get
in touch if you do not feel confident.
Please sign up by Friday 6th March.
